A distinct semi-hard cheese wrapped in foraged green nettles, Cornish Yarg has a slight crumbly texture with a hint of lemon and mushroom. The name of this cheese is a nod to its founder, Alan Gray - Yarg is Gray spelt backwards.
Made from Ayrshire cow’s milk, this cheese is aged for 3-4 weeks.
